Bucovina is the realm of painted monasteries, of vast and secretive forests, of holily kept traditions. Located at the confluence between the East and the West of Europe, it was a province of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, where even today, together with the Romanians, still live many minorities, such as Ukrainians, Poles, Hungarians, Germans, Jews, Armenians and Slovaks. This lasting cohabitation, in total harmony, made Bucovina to be named ”The Little Eastern Vienna”.
As the president of Suceava Kennel Club, member of Romanian Kennel Club, I am honored to invite you to the CAC and CACIB exhibitions organized by our association on 4th of May 2019, at Suceava, the actual capital of Bucovina. We will live together, people and dogs, the thrill of a refined competition.
As an inhabitant of this land blessed by God, I invite you to discover the beautiful Bucovinean landscape, its history, its hospitality, its delicious gastronomy, as well as its unaltered customs and traditions.
Last but not least, I invite you to become one of the pilgrims of Bucovina’s medieval painted monasteries, foundations of Stephan the Great and Saint, Prince of Moldavia, a contemporary of Vlad III Dracula – Prince of Wallachia.
Cristian Domitian MOROŞANU,
Suceava County Kennel Association President
